Our Program
The Cut Hypertension Program is founded to eliminate cardiovascular disparities among the black community by engaging barbers and cosmetologists as leaders in their barbershops, salons, and community. In partnership with black barbershops and salons, we provide health coaching and education, and hypertension (ie high blood pressure) screening and treatment in the barbershop
Stay Fresh and In Control
Get your haircut and blood pressure monitored and managed in your local barbershop or salon. We’ll work with your existing primary care or medical teams for seamless continuity of care. Free haircuts or discounted cosmetology services for participants with high blood pressure for every visit with our specialty pharmacist.
Barbershop and Salon Partners
Our barbershop and salon partners co-design and adapt the program to their community space. And are excited to work with clients to improve their health and well-being through client-centered and strength-based health coaching.
